Yeah I never saw him as a goal scorer but assumed he would provide at least some creativity and assists. No clue what his actual numbers are, I just gave him credit for maybe possibly being good at something. Not enough to warrant the contract he received though.

When we signed Kim, we already knew he was injured, so ZERO expectations… just a joke by Wenger.

Willian, because management were stupid enough to give him what he wanted (3 Year Contract) and he cashed in.
I was originally never in favour of this signing. Then I gave him the benefit of doubt after the first match. Really bad signing and hasn’t worked out. He had a decent last season at Chelsea but for whatever reason it hasn’t worked out at Arsenal. Probably one of the worst signings of all time, although I can’t say he is ahead of the likes of Mustafi, Silvestre, and Squillaci for me (off the top of my head…
We now just need to cut out losses and move on. Free transfer with limited pay off for Willian is the ideal situation. The fact he wants to play, and doesn’t want to play for Arsenal anymore, does play in our favour. The perfect scenario now is a free transfer/mutual termination of his contract. Ultimately this is about saving money now and cutting our losses.
We all make mistakes. We need to correct the mistake and learn from this. I think Edu and Arteta will learn from this and will reflect on the experience if we get rid of him.
Xhaka for me by definition of the fact he was out the door by choice and we stopped it twice.
