What was the last film you watched?

That girl was crazy hot, especially in the crazy sense.

Oh yeah, she’s the daughter of Andie MacDowell who was very popular in the 90s.

Btw did you guys clock in that the hippie girl that ran away with the car before the attack was Robin from Stranger Things ?

I’m old enough to know who Andie Macdowell is!

And no I didn’t realise that!

She’s the daughter of Uma Thurman and Ethan Hawke. I wonder how she got her big break.

I didn’t know her by name, which is why I’m saying she’s popular so other people like me would google her to find out a familiar face

I watched The Third Man again last night. Really love that film. BFI voted it number 1 in the top 100 greatest British films ever, coincidentally Trevor Howard was in both the top 2.

I’ve gotta watch this. Ive gone from watching toilet drivel like ā€œDude, where’s my car?!ā€ to high brow film noir thanks to you!

I went through a phase of liking London gangster films. Shamefully Danny Dyer ones too. It didn’t last very long, but it happened. :gabriel:

Ooofff I once watched one of his where a mixed race gangster kills his (dyers) parents and he vows revenge.

Ain’t gonna get that time back

Casino. 6/10

Knock-off Goodfellas (8/10) with very little of the charm.

Long as fuck too.

Lol

Casino was the one that sort of finished me with these gangster films.
Got sick of the glorification of the big bad mob and gratuitous violence of it all.

Get to fuck. This is my #1 mob film, bona fide classic. Your opinion is wrong homes

It’s true Casino is great.

You say Casino is your number one mob film and then have the utter cheek to tell someone else that their opinion is wrong in the very next sentence.

I actually like Casino a lot, but it doesn’t even come close to Goodfellas.

#1 mob film? When the Godfathers exist?

Sorry @Sol I’m afraid to say I’m right.

Meant @Electrifying crazy 6/10 rating was wrong. Casino is my favourite mob film and I stand by that.

Godfather I / II and Goodfellas are elite too (goes without saying obv) but just my preference. It was the first film in this genre I ever watched so it has a sentimental value for me. Watched it on VHS when I was 13 or something, should still have that big bastard box at home somewhere
