Oh yeah Iām a huuggee Owen Wilson fan, heās a really really nice guy too, I met him a couple years back and he was so awesome.
did he say wow?
Blatantly not Gary Oldman, not sure heās ever been in anything truly great, and even his best films are kinda average. De Niroās stuff with Scorcese is obviously first rate. Nicholsonās early work is very good like Five Easy Pieces. Iād probably go for De Niro.
I find it difficult to watch any rom com without cringingā¦
I watched Ghost ages ago because my girlfriend said it was a great film and she was crying through it and I was laughing because it was so corny.
I think Oldman is a great actor but has only been in a few great films but Nicholson, De Niro and Newman have rarely been in poor films, apart from a few later ones from De Niro.
Probably 30 years since a great De Niro film, which I would say was Goodfellas. Guess heās done Casino and Heat which were ok. I think for Nicholson, Christ, itās probably 35-40 years when he made The Shining. Nothing much since then, good performances obviously, but no great films.
If I choose Morgan Freeman can I accidentally racially confuse him with lots of other black actors (this has happened to my dad a few times) and watch their films too?
First thing I thought of⦠@shamrockgooner
Leon is decent, not great IMO.
Itās literally epic
Natalie Portman. I have no idea why but something about her being on the screen is irksome to me.
On the other hand Iāll watch things with Noomi Rapace in even when I know itāll be rubbish.
Iām a big fan of Vera Farmiga, I donāt think she gets enough praise. The Departed, Running Scared, Bates Motel. Sheās awesome
Sheās excellent in The Boy with the Striped Pyjamas.
Also has the most beautiful eyes in the business

Youāre right. To me, even her piece de resistance, Black Swan, isnāt deserving of the credit it gets.
Weird ass film
I find this guy truly unfunny, just like his pal, Owen Wilson. Ben Stiller and Adam Sandler donāt really amuse me, either.
Will Ferrell is better than them all, but I wouldnāt put Ferrell in the āIād watch all his filmsā category either
Canāt watch anything Melissa McCarthy in.
She is very watchable and a good actress.
I find Emma Thompson quite irritating.
For an actress who has won so many Oscars and other awards she seems to over act and isnāt very natural, a bit like Kenneth Branagh.
Hit the nail on the head for me, canāt stand Emma Thompson for exactly that reason.
James Franco is my favourite out of the more recent crop of comedic actors. I really rate Danny McBride too. Pineapple Express is a personal favourite.
Jonah Hill has had a few moments in the Jump Street movies, but he hasnāt made me laugh my arse off since Superbad, which for my money, is one of those generational comedies that really captures a certain era. Still find it funny as fuck to this day, and probably still will in 20 years time.
