Just watched A Quiet Place 2 tooā¦
For me not even close to the first one. Great acting, production, tense scences as in the first one, but really failed to invest and drag me in as the first one did. A pretty lame storyline imo, added very little if nothing to the first part.
Needed something silly and mindless to watch this evening after everything earlier, thought Iād take the opportunity to get round to watching Deadpool 2. It met my expectations and I had a good laugh. Josh Brolin was appropriately gruff and badass(and has great hair), a great counterpoint to Ryan Reynolds doing Ryan Reynolds things. Iām watching it on Disney + and I get the feeling that I was meant to actually see Ryan Reynoldās baby penis at one point, I assume that was a gag too far for them lol.
Enjoyed Deadpool going back to kill X Men Origins Wolverineās Deadpool in the mid credits scene lol
Didnāt realise Zazie Beetz was in this though, that was a pleasant surprise

Hmm it fell really flat for me, itās weird I canāt really put my finger on why. There was something just off about it for me. Like you I absolutely loved how Reynolds and Brolin played off each other, I think my grievance with the movie was they werenāt bouncing off each other enough, felt more like a sub plot while the main story arc was a bit bleh.
Toy Story 4. Iāve read reviews saying it is the perfect ending. So I was like ok, letās watch it. The perfect ending? It is a shit ending! I am so annoyed.

Just watched Palm Springs. Really enjoyed it. One of those films thatās good to go into blind having little idea what itās about.

Tom & Jerry - took my son to the cinema as he loves them. It was pretty good, but I wouldnāt have paid to see it if my son hadnāt been interested.

Iām just surprised Chloe Grace Moretz starred in it, I always figured she was above money grabbing efforts like that but maybe she has too many mortgages to pay off
