Arsenal badge Cameo in one of them.
Apparently thereâs an Arsenal badge in the Deer Hunter, too. In the bar scene
Haha yeah was unexpected as fuck
Thats 12.
Yeah itâs at one of the hotels thereâs an Arsenal badge on a suitcase then they go to the Emirates as well I think. Recently found out that the writers of the John Carter film (the one set in Mars) were Arsenal fans and reference the club through out the film, one of them being the aliens creating a straight defensive line which is a nod to Arsenals strong defence and offside trap from back in the days. Although I seen the film I didnât notice any of that.
12 was out in 2004 so it wasnât the Emirates haha
Yeah was fuzzy on the details/dates because I havenât seen it since release for some reason I remembered watching it in like 2007/8 not 04. Fucking hell time flies. Oh well nice to see us be represented in film also didnât they rock the jackets as well with the logo?
Think so haha think he pretended to be a player for something haha.
You might have watched it in 2006/07 but it was released in 2004 lol
Watched this this evening. I thought they did an incredible job of putting us as the audience in the lead characters shoes. Riz Ahmed is excellent as always.
The Predator
Fâckin awful. Shits on the wonderful legacy Arnie and the boys set in 1987.

I donât understand why they keep remaking or adding movies to these franchises. The original Predator is a classic and one of the best movies of the 80s if their going to add to it they could at least get the best people in the business to to do it instead of the garbage theyâve been churning out for the past 30 years!
Watching the ESPN documentary on Galacticos that was released earlier this yer. Perez is a mad, mad man.
I donât believe you. We all know why
They donât even make any money though bro, they always tank. Like Predator is a big movie has cult like following, they would make a killing if they actually tried to make a good film and expand the universe instead of cheap money grabs.
You do wonder where they could go with predator now. If it was just a standalone movie, it would have been wonderful. However, then us fans would have become impatient, insisting on a sequel.
We all wanted a sequel with Arnie (I think @Pires said the same before). That didnât materialise. Sequels arenât as good as the original, anyway (sounds ridiculous me saying that as Arnie is the one guy who has broken the mould of that saying)
They obviously think that they will make money though, thatâs what I mean about the reason for them being made being clear as day. Itâs a lazy and cheap attempt to make a cash grab based on audience nostalgia.
But as long as people keep watching them, theyâll keep taking punts on low effort revivals of popular franchises in the hope the next one is a big hit.
They do though because dopes like me will go see them in the hope that they are not shit. I remember one of them being really good actually but the newer ones all blend into one in my mind so I canât remember whichâŚit had a kid who understood their tech. Also the movies are often just fronts for things like graphic novel and game spin offs, the type of things that can run for years and years and where the real money is to be made long term.
See above.

Nobody (Bob Odenkirk) : Great action movie, thoroughly enjoyed it.
Definitely on the watch list!
Love and Monsters - I really enjoyed it! Didnât expect much heading into it but was a lighthearted and enjoyable film with some good action sequences.
Very much in the vein of Zombieland and Warm Bodies, so if you liked those youâll like this.
