I thought this was the final release aswell. But came up after a episode back in February 13th is the next release
Watching Silo season 2 right now
Finished Only Murders in the Building.
Started Shogun.
Day of the jackal
Started this last night 5 episodes been really got so far.
Only heard good things about this so far. What’s the verdict?
I am enjoying it so far. Great cast with a good story. I aint seen the film tho so i cant compare it.
The Final: Attack on Wembley
Should be no surprise why foreign police forces treat England fans with such contempt.
Finished Shogun and I’ve never read the book and do not have an opinion from that POV but I thought the first series was amazing. It really holds true to the Japanese aesthetic.
I finished out The Good Fight, which is a spin off of The Good Wife and it gets pretty fucking weird at times.
Just as an example, in one episode they investigate Epstein’s death.
Anyway it ended with the Google equivalent creator buying out the Democratic party, fox news and convincing the Rock (not seen) to run for president. It aired a couple years before the election and i bet the dems wish they’d copied it lol
I wouldn’t suggest watching the show to be honest but season 3 is great because of Michael Sheen.
Bit late to the party here, but just watched both seasons of Kin.
Nothing groundbreaking, but pretty compelling viewing. Hoping that third series happens soon.
Particularly enjoyed Ciaran Hinds’ performance, and Aidan Gillen. Mance Rayder and Littlefinger
Viking’s girlfriend Nikki is insane too
Just watched through Better Call Saul. I’m not really a TV show person hence the extreme lateness lol Breaking Bad is one show I did watch and loved obviously so found myself fangirling when Gus made his first appearance during season 2
Finished slow horses on apple on Friday
Brilliant.
I only watched this myself a few months back. Brendan has to be one of the most dislikable tv characters ever. Just an out and out cunt nearly every second he’s on screen.
Oof, yeah Bren was an absolute cunt haha. Pretty scary with it too. That was another stand out performance. If I’m not mistaken, he was also in Game of Thrones like Hinds and Gillen.
I’m actually one of only 9 irish people who weren’t in it.
I watched Kin before GoT and knew I recognised Littlefinger from somewhere but couldn’t think of it. Thank you for pointing it out
Finally got round to watching gladiator 2. It was solid and enjoyable if you don’t overthink things, it was never going to meet the gold standard set by the original particularly in respect of the acting. The performances in the original really spoiled us.
I think Denzel is the only person who can hold their head up, even then it was average showing. Rest of the cast was mid to trash. Particularly Pascal (completely overrated and overbooked actor) and Nielsen (disgusting level of regression as an actor, script and direction didn’t help).
00’s Crowe to Mescal was the biggest and most glaring downgrade from the original, i’m aware its a tough gig but it felt generic and pretty silly at times. Some of that is definitely poor writing but Mescal was not compelling.
Russell Crowe at his peak in the 00’s was different calibre of actor. Guy had a crazy run of top tier performances, it hard to replace that kind of presence in a sequel.
It was a better showing from Scott. immersion and action scenes was really top tier.
Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams.
Anthology series like Black Mirror, and just as watchable
I thought this dude departed nearly 50 years ago, but good that he’s got a new TV show out.
Its close to 10 years old i think
