Really liked the first season when I watched it a few years ago. Never watched the second season but did notice the other day that it’s on Netflix now.
Didn’t know it’s getting a third season too.

At last, someone else has watched it! Watch the second series…I think it is better than the first. Third series has just finished filming. Probably out late this year or early next.
I think it will find an audience on Netflix.

Fucking oath, mate. A small village in the bush of Northern 'Stralia with only 11 inhabitants, one of them and their dog gets murdered. And they all hate each other.
Now this might be controversial for one of the biggest tv series in history but I had never watched Game of Thrones. It just never interested me. Until I got bored of everyone reacting like I said something bad when I said I have never watched it. 
So one August evening I started it and near enough every night since then for 3 months I have watched at least one episode. I finished it today. What an experience this past 3 months has been. Loved every season. Incredible tv 
In a way I am glad I missed it “live” as I could fully immerse myself in the universe of it by watching all 8 seasons back to back without weekly or yearly gaps.
So many great characters and is now firmly #1 in my tv series watched now.
I have found a GOT thread on here now aswell so will spend my afternoon reading that

Not interested in the books either so judging on it just being a tv show. I don’t care if it’s realistic or anything tbh. All 8 seasons were good viewing I thought

It probably helped that you didn’t have the whole of social media pointing out its flaws and complaining about the final few seasons while you were watching it.

fair enough. I do remember in 2019 everyone hated the ending haha. Even though I was oblivious to it and the spoilers meant nothing to me at the time it was the biggest thing in popular culture 5 years ago
Watching it all in UHD was a bonus aswell couldn’t imagine not watching it in that quality now!
Hard to name a favourite as were a lot I liked and disliked over the 8 seasons.

I did the same because so many people went on about it but haven’t finished it yet.
It seems well made and obviously a lot of money has been spent on it but although it’s good, I wouldn’t put it in the same bracket as Breaking Bad or The Sopranos.
I usually watch European crime drama so this is completely different, being more dungeons and dragons, with fantasy characters thrown in and far too many sword fights.
The only big TV series I haven’t seen is The Wire.

Just had an enjoyable 45 mins. watching my grandson’s U-13 hockey game. They lost 6-3, but hey ho those kids have fun.

Not hard. I tried so hard to like GoT, and it just did nothing for me.
The Wire is great though @InvincibleDB10 . I was late to the party with it as didn’t think it’d be my thing. Have a mate who still insists it’s the best thing he has ever seen and he watches everything. I eventually gave in. If you use subtitles though, the creators will be mad at you
