What are you watching?

By the time of For Your Eyes Only, Sir Rog began to look terribly old.

Yeah I basically love every Bond, I think they’re all charming individually, but my only criticism of Roger Moore is that he was definitely looking his age (late 50s) in some of his movies and that was a bit hard to believe even for Bond.

Did the world run out of absolute stunners when it came to cast the Bond Girls in A View To A Kill?

Wasn’t he 41 when he made Live and Let Die? (His first Bond). There’s still a chance for me, in that case :joy:

He was also, ironically, older than Sir Sean when he took over the reins from him (think Rog is a year older)

I think there are repeats of this on ITV4 but they’re buried at like 2am.

I quite liked view to a kill but Fleming hadn’t actually written a book about it. (Wouldn’t have mattered mind you, none of the films were faithful to the text)

Exactly. The movies basically just borrowed the name of the books, but by understanding is that it they had very little to do with the plots.

I liked Pierced Todger in Goldeneye especially with Robbie Coltrane. Coltrane was brilliant in Cracker
