What are you watching?

I’m angry about genuine 11 year old children being sexually exploited in order to make a soft porn film. I don’t have that much of an issue with teenagers coming of age according to their own choices, which has always been a thing.

I genuinely believe the director must be a peadophile, using ‘art’ as an excuse to get young girls to perform sexual acts. Peadophilia is much more common than people realise.

yeah as I said I haven’t watched much of the content, I watched that thing up there ^ somewhere in the middle of it and saw some children twerking and thought “well, that makes sense”, and I don’t really care to watch more of it, I just get angry lol

I mean I think the whole culture is pretty shit so the angrier people get over this the better I like it

Do you really think that she is? I thought the story was partly inspired by her own experiences growing up in France.

Yeah I’m pretty sure this show (we’re talking about that Netflix one right?) is meant to be an expose, highlighting the exploitation of children, which I’m sure is a genuine ambition of the showrunner. I haven’t watched any of it and don’t plan to but I have read descriptions and I still think, despite it’s aims, it shouldn’t be on TV. It will obviously be watched by people for sickening purposes and just pushes the envelope for a normalisation of this stuff and I do feel that this stuff is already being normalised in multiple areas these days.

Just finished season 2. Best TV i’ve seen in ages. So much fun.

You guys are right.

Cobra Kai is fucking awesome - just started tonight and I’m 4 episodes in.

It’s got just the right amount of cheese, humour, drama and action. Perfect.

I’ve given up on it a bit, I’ve fallen into some real high end TV that I’m completely enraptured by at the moment. Raised by wolves, Lovecraft Country and The Boys.

Lovecraft Country has one of the best first episodes of TV I think I’ve ever seen.

What’s that on?

It’s an HBO drama that’s on Sky Atlantic. Couldn’t recommend it enough.

Cool, I’ll give it a gander

Young Wallander on Netflix was alright. I’m not sure if it’s direction or the actor’s choice but the series would be about a thousand times better if Wallander himself wasn’t so fucking boring. :arteta:

Just finished watching Gangs of London…definately worth a watch! From Gareth Evans who directed The Raid and The Raid 2 which are two of the best action films ever made.

Cuties is a horrific development for what kind of hole we are going down.

Not surprised it has that classic French colonial plot of ‘liberating’ the backward muslim girl, taking her away from her ‘backward’ family into the enlightened world of celebrity and sexualisation.

Piss off

Bunch of fucking nonces. ‘oh it’s meant to be a satire of child sexualisation’

You’re sexualisaing children to show how funny it is that children get sexualised, real galaxy brain stuff.

Fuck off.

And no, it’s not the same as Four Lions satirising terrorism, it’s just not.

David Attenborough on Extinction the facts. Brilliant programme highlights the mess this world in and how we fucked up the planet. Theories that feasible explain covid but with a range of people with brains and intellect who if listened too could give the world a future.
Attenborough is one of the greatest people on this planet and has given so much without an ounce of ideology.

It was a difficult watch

I don’t bother with a vpn to watch BT sports tweets but I think I’ll crack it open to see what Sir Dave has to say.
