Prime whiffed on Rings of Power, but I think Johnathan Nolan is a decent enough show runner despite not being all that keen on Westworld.

The show looked great, I liked the casting, and was cool about the black hobbits etc (big Lenny Henry fan in my childhood). just didn’t have much depth and I got bored - only watched up to ep 7.
I’ve no idea who the show runners are, but they massively fucked up throwing all that money at Tolkien IP and not putting someone elite at the helm.

That was a documentary entirely put together with footage, recorded during his lifetime.
The same filmmaker also made a similar style documentary with Amy Winehouse as the subject. Interestingly, there is also a biopic coming about to be her too, though I don’t think the original documentarian has anything to do with either movie. And with Senna being a Netflix production, they’ll probably cancel it by the time he goes to Imola, so maybe he survives at the end?

Peter Jackson made a mess of the LoTR films, so can’t see how him leading on a remake is a good idea. They will be remade one day, hopefully by someone who actually appreciates the books.
