They both tend to play about 15 yards closer to the goal lol
The role is completely different imo and Giggs did it at 21 as well.

Name me ten better from say 1995 until 2010. Should be easy if he wasnât that good.
Surely if the claim was that he was the best in the world for a period, Calum would have to produce one name (once the period is defined), not ten?
I rarely speak in absolutes and I didnât regarding Giggs. I stated arguably the best winger in the world for a period and offered Figo as an alternative. For the claim to be laughable OR for Giggs to have been overrated, there should be a plethora of better wingers from Giggs peak years. Interested to hear some.
I can add the words âvery possiblyâ to my post, no probs, itâd still work as intended.
Key thing is to nail down the period in which he was arguably the best in your opinion, gotta start there.
Around 1999. Not that it really matters. Itâs possible to have an informed opinion about something without living through it.
Yeah itâs the informed bit you left out.
Giggs has gone from being overrated to being criminally underrated. Definitely wasnât some scrub winger he was one of the best in Europe in his prime.
I donât think heâs the best player in the history of the PL and thatâs where I consider him to be overrated but seems all fans shit on him to the point now that heâs become underrated
Thank God unpopular doesnât mean true
giggs??!..he can go screwâŚohhhhh wait
Letâs say 1994 to 1999 as a five year period of his peak.
Canât think of many better wingers during that time and bar a season of magic from Overmars and the odd burst from Ginola, he was easily the best winger in the Premier League in that period.
What about Beckham?
If weâre talking quality over quantity, itâs very difficult for me to say Merson was inferior to Giggs.
Did you ever think he was the best winger in the Premier League 94-99? I didnât personally but it is definitely a debate.
I rated Beckham a lot by the was as a footballer. Also, Beckham and Giggs didnât break through at the same time. Giggs (from memory) came through years before Beckham established himself. 1993 to 1997 might have been a better time frame as Kanchelskis and Sharpe were on the opposite wing to Giggs for most of that.
Itâs opinion but I rate peak Giggs over peak Beckham and both were class.
If weâre talking underrated, heâs at the top of the list.
Kanchelskis was class.
Loved him in the ISS2 (PSone). Rangers were the OP team
Tore Andre Flo & Caniggia
I think both players get overrated because of their prime overlapping with the advent of the PL and the explosion in tv coverage.
I didnât say they were shit, but the way some pundits talk about them is a bit ott.
Giggs is a terrible human being though.
You clearly did.
