You should not get to hjjack another competition because you were to shit for the top one.
Taking away that rule is the best thing UEFA have done.
The Europa League winners should be in it from the qualifying rounds/groups

I agree, however it will inevitably reduce the value of the competition.
It was always looked down upon.
Not having big clubs drop to Europa allows smaller clubs like United & Tottenham to go further in the competition & add more income & trophies to their list which they otherwise wouldnāt.
More clubs need to find success & get uplifted as an outcome.

Whoever is on the losing will surely be under a lot of pressure.
Tough to see Ange surviver it, Amorim probably will but purely because he hasnāt been on the job long enough.
Heāll essentially have the start of next season to show improvement. If they start drifting away from Europe again next season then heās screwed.

Iāll be rooting for United but Iām at peace with any result. Itās really a shit competition after the recent changes. Like West Ham winning the conference league a few years ago, nobody can possibly think itās some kind of major accomplishment. The fact that both teams have been so poor all season just underscores the point. And while somebody unfortunately has to win, somebody else will have to lose and that part will be hilarious.
If it wasnāt for the European trophy aspect Iād actually be fine with a spurs win (I.e if it was fa cup or league cup with CL qually) but United have to do us a favour here.
I think spurs being in the CL would be less beneficial to them and thus better for us of the two but I just canāt listen to their bullshit if they win this.
Pretty much same here. I honestly donāt really mind Spurs when we arenāt directly competing with them but them having a European trophy wouldnāt be great.
Having spurs win a trophy would be too much, especially after their worst season in the PL.
Also, winning the EL would mean they qualify for the CL and with the extra money, could afford to invest a lot more in the window than they would have without a trophy.
At least Man U supporters know that winning the EL is just papering over the cracks.
