U.S. Politics

”Haha” yes I did. Just adding fuel to the fire in a complex discussion. Don’t be a clown. It’s not all black or white.

More nuance and care when describing political movements would be a good thing, I can’t disagree with you there :+1:

True. It’s dangerous when these kinds of racist parties are the only ones offering the poor a way out as the establishment parties become pathetic deviant debauched messes.

Then they unleash massacres and wars on the world.

It happened in Russia, Germany, Cambodia, Cuba, China and many other places. Essentially use the poor and working class to gain power, then implement things that get people killed.

Wow. I am so surprised. Who could have seen that coming? I am shocked. I may have to lay down.

I cannot emphasize what a colossal piece of shit this guy is. Fuck him.

What the fuck is Pelosi up to exactly?

Trying to start a war with China it seems.

Crazy stuff, I’m sure they’ll “find” a smoking gun there

If not then surely the corps of his dead ex-wife under the 9th hole.

Are you suggesting that the FBI is going to plant evidence?

I wouldn’t put it past any federal 3 letter agency tbh

I respect that skepticism but there’s so much publicly available information about his crimes – which his supporters don’t really care about – that I can’t imagine any bad actor within law enforcement thinking they’d found a single piece of evidence that would really make a difference.

I feel the search of his Florida home is already an act in bad faith.

What are the FBI hoping to find or obtain there? There won’t be anything of significance, feel like political grandstanding mostly, and it will most likely work in Trump’s favour when he peddles deep state narratives

If the FBI got a search warrant to get into a former president’s house it wasn’t just for political grandstanding. Judges aren’t stupid, nobody’s signing off on that warrant for the lolz.

Edit: Apparently the s/w was related to the investigation into Trump’s alleged mishandling of documents. We already know he took boxes of documents to his house in Florida, that’s been reported for months and been under investigation for months.

Yeah, there is no way that Garland approves the raid or a federal judge signs off on the warrant unless (a) they already have a ton of evidence that a federal crime was committed and (b) they have a lot of reason to believe that other important evidence of that crime is currently on location.

Who knows how this turns out but my personal wild ass guess is that Trump or someone close to him took a bunch of highly classified documents, didn’t return them all when he was supposed to return them all earlier this year, and now the FBI has figured out what is missing and potentially has some evidence that Trump or someone close to him tried to monetize those documents in some way.

This is the US legal system we’re talking about, it’s not hard at all to find a Judge in DC who wants their signature on the FBI search warrant of Trump’s home.

It’s a fishing excise designed to embarrass Trump and bypass normal rules of disclosure required in various criminal and civil cases. it’s absolutely politically motivated to some extent.

I’m assuming a magic document clearly proving his guilt will be uncovered under Trump’s bed

You guys have way more faith in the US justice system than I do :stuck_out_tongue:
