The living standards being bad is also in part due to crippling US sanctions.

But nations’ leadersips like Iran, Venezuela, deserve scorn for being so hated by countries that matter and pissing off so many people.

That doesn’t mean they should be invaded or regime changed however.

Just like that he’s back talking about Greenland again.

Goodluck chaps. Prepare to be boarded. :united_states:

I like Rubio, he’d be a good president hoping Vance never gets a look in next term.

So your answer is no. Invasion for thee but not for me :saliba3:.

We’re coming for the chapatis soon. Get ready :united_states:

Instead of being emotional, suggest me a better solution.

And to answer your question, if vast majority of Indians were suffering under the tyrannical rule of an individual and the only way to come out of it was an illegal invasion, so be it.

Did you post that from the 1800s on behalf of the East India Company?

Brilliant deflection “No, because [blame someone else in a act of bad faith false equivalency]”

It’s hilarious because it makes the assumption that I’m in support of previous leaders of the Democrats.

Peepee Diddy will be proud of all his besotted supporters doing his bidding for him. As usual.

You said trump needed congressional approvaI, I wasn’t deflecting I was giving examples that show that congress approval isn’t always needed. I guess lawyers will tell us in the future (and whatever they decide will ultimately be a meaningless ruling with zero outcome as per every other apparent congress procedural breach).

Anyways, pure mental illness is in full flow atm.

Feel free to make false equivalency but at the end of the day, you are basically saying I am a priviledged individual living in a stable country who is fine with hundreds of millions of human beings being oppressed because the alternative is a bitter reality to accept.

You don’t have to celebrate the Maduro capture (I don’t either) but you can low key accept that this is a good thing for Venezuelans (in whatever capacity)

I wonder how long it will take for the US to set their full sights on Greenland.

I think it’s inevitable at this rate.

I imagine it’ll be a similar situation to what they did with us in 1917 with the Virgin Islands.

“Here’s a $100m - you’re lucky we’re paying you.”

And if Denmark refuses?

They didn’t back then when they knew the writing was on the wall.

Maybe it’s different with NATO etc. but we literally couldn’t even stop them if we wanted to.

Like we have zero defensive installations - he could literally land 200 USMC in Nuuk and hold it with that.

We sure as fuck aren’t going to sacrifice any soldiers lives (what tiny amount that we have).

We’ll probably invoke the UN Security Council etc. and start court proceedings, but that won’t stop a US aircraft carrier.

Ok sure Denmark has a fair bit of geopolitical clout, but even one of our closest allies like the UK refuses to make any statements about US intentions on Greenland.

I mean maybe Macron sends a frigate or two up to Greenland?

Highly doubt it.

There seems to be very little criticism from Starmer and other leaders against what America has done but would they be so quiet if a smaller country did the same?

Just invoke Article 5 of the NATO treaty.

And I wonder at what point Western leaders will say something. When he invades Cuba? Mexico? Canada, they’ll have to say something then won’t they?

He’s wrecking the USA’s reputation in a way that a KGB Officer could only dream of. Imagine if this is all happening because the Russian President has a video of the American President having a Golden Shower.
