The Unmentionables v The Arsenal (Premier League)

I know the cool thing to do is moan/laugh about how shit we are. But I don’t think this game is a write off. Under Arteta some of our best results and performances have come in the bigger games. Hopefully this will be another example of that.

Lawro’s got us down for a 2-1 loss.

He was shit while he was playing and he’s shit while he predicts, too.

No he was good player. Very versatile another Paisley gem.
Crap commentary pundit though.

Exactly…lose 2-1…if only, more like 4 or 5 nil ffs…

He can’t stand us after we beat them at their place to win the league title.
He should take a tip from that song in frozen and Let It Go.

Yes Pheebs! I love this attitude! We know he can set up to play underdog in big games. This is one situation I would call it smart tactics and not Small Dickery or Respectball.

The head says Mourinho is going to school Arteta in this one. The heart says we’ll put in the best performance of this season so far.

Arteta knows a hammering/humiliation by Spurs could spell the end of his reign so I expect him to be even more pragmatic/circumspect than he usually is. Expect Spurs to have a lot of possession and us to absorb the pressure and hit them on the counter.

And please, no idiotic mistakes from us.

Good thing I have my monthly RDO this monday, so I can watch the game, walk the dog and then go back to sleep instead of go to work.

Please Arsenal get something from this match.

Arsenal will win 2-1

Partey for Xhaka if fit

Controversial but probably right based on form

If we lose, they will go top of the PL and we’ll be eleven points behind them after only eleven games.
Also, if Brighton and Crystal Palace win, we’ll be fifth from bottom.
I’m pretty sure this has ever happened before so there is no better incentive to win this.

You forget we’ve got Arteta at the helm.

The incentive would have been there in spades had we appointed Poch.
