The State of The Arsenal

That’s true, if we are healthy and form is like now, I kind of expect us to go to places like Brighton, United and Spurs and win the majority.

The big question is, we had George Graham and Arsene’s famous “Back 4”.

Will it be Tommy, Zinny or Timbre who takes that final spot in history with White, Saliba and Gabriel?

Because what I’m seeing at the moment is as good, if not better than when Bouldy and Tone started to tick.

By the look of it, neither of these three. Kiwior says hello

Yep. They all have work to do to catch up with him.

From Mustafi and Holding to this

While we are in the best form of this season, for us to keep this going till the end of the season, we’ll need a huge slice of luck with injuries. Realistically, if we are to compete on multiple fronts, with the likes of City & Liverpool, we need 2 good options in all of our attacking positions at the very minimum.

Players like Reiss, Nketiah are a big drop off in quality while ESR and Vieira have proven to be unreliable. Jesus and Trossard offer cover for some positions but we know how unreliable Jesus can be. So some major decisions and moves have to be made on many of the fringe players in this squad in the Summer. And this is apart from Partey’s replacement, and a striker and maybe Ramsdale’s replacement.

We have arguably the best depth of quality in defence in the PL, with Gabriel, Saliba, White, Timber, Tomiyasu, Zinchenko, Kiwior, behind quality DM’s like Rice, Partey and Jorginho, who also contribute going forward.

Arteta and Edu certainly know what they’re doing when buying defensive players, which is the opposite of when we were making record defensive signings of Chambers and Mustafi, as well as bargain basement defenders like Holding, Mavro, Debuchy, Santos, Squillaci, Sylvestre and plenty of others.

and this is why Wenger deserved a lot of the criticism that came his way in his latter years. Whether it was him or the scouting network we had… all of those players are absolute rubbish (below top 4 quality) and shouldn’t have stepped a foot in this club.

They’re all just ‘a body’ for the sake of filling a spot. Glad we’re not there anymore.

Debuchy was starting right back for France and was good until that shoulder injury. I don’t remember the cunt who pushed him deliberately.

Arnautovic

Debuchy was a very good player before that. Should be OAP lichtsteiner in that list in his place.

Takes the piss that we’re not top of the league by at least 5 points with those stats.

That December run has truly fucked us.

should have a Dubai trip earlier

Best Arsenal goal difference since 1935 was +56 by the 90-91 title winners.

We’re currently on +45 with 11 matches to play.

The state of the Arsenal is fucking good.

I know this sounds crazy but I’d much rather be in the chasing pack than in the lead right now. We want Liverpool and City to have as much of the focus as possible.

Our fixtures are going to start getting tougher from now but if we get lucky with injuries, there is no game that we shouldn’t win, including City. Yeah, I said City and I know it’s at the Etihad. We have to beat City if we have to win this league. I know a draw will suit us as well but if we want to stamp our authority on this league, we just have to beat City.

Told you, this is Centurions pace. We’re probably the best positioned team to achieve Centurions or Invincibles(again) title in the foreseeable future.

If we keep up this momentum, we deserve to win the league.

Liverpool and City need to step aside.

I’ll tell you one thing I believe will be wrong

The statements of “ last season will be our only and or best chance to win the league “

We’ve backed up this season in the thick of another title race in March.

I genuinely believe the peak of this team will be 2025- 2028 also, after they’ve played predominantly 2 years together already, the main age demographic of the starters goes from early to mid 20 to Mid to late 20s.

We might even get away with a defeat at the Etihad at this rate. We’ve gathered a number of points to mitigate for such an eventuality.

I just think City will drop points in some of the “sleeper” games.
