They’ve drawn 6 and lost 2, in 25 matches. Would’ve been 1 if not for VAR.
There’s only 13 games left, at best they’ll drop points in another 2 games, but the chances of any of them being a loss is low - other than the City game, but that doesn’t necessarily help us.
If you don’t compare the run ins for a minute and just look at our remaining fixtures, with the exception of City away, we really should be able to win all the other games.
Tottenham, Man Utd, Villa, Brighton are the real big ones but if we play like we have been this year, none of those teams stand a chance. Am not saying we’ll score 5 or 6 goals in each game but we clearly are a level above all those teams.
For me, it will come down to how confident and convinced we are in our ability to do this. We have what it takes, just have to get over the line. Injuries will play a crucial role as always so we’ll need that little bit of luck.
I hate that we have to go to Old Cuntford so late in the season. United will probably lay down for a violebt pounding from Liverpool and do us in with their shitbox countering when we go there.
Don’t worry, he’s been banging this drum about having everyone fit for the run-in from the start but he now keeps saying almost every interview or presser and how they’re working hard for that to happen.
We’ll win a title in the next 3 years, but still don’t expect it’ll this season as we have the toughest run home. If we keep winning up until the Etihad fixture and avoid defeat in that one though, who knows.
Yes but all the teams we play, except City, are below us in the table, and for a reason. It won’t be easy and it’s not meant to be but we have to fancy ourselves against them all.
I think fixtures in March will have a big say. City have a tough run of fixtures then clear in April and May. Our chances will likely come down to City away. We still have a good chance with the way we are playing.
