The State of The Arsenal

Those previous 5 don’t fully reflect the games tbf, we really should’ve come away with 2 wins and a draw from those first 3. Only the final 2 we were genuinely poor.

That being said, results are what they are and we do look better going forward now for sure.

That’s a myth. We scored as many setpiece goals as others in the league under Wenger.
It was on the defending side that we sucked.

Am usually a glass half empty type, where it pertains to Arsenal, but let’s chuck in three, random positives.

  • the Balogun sale looks immense at the moment.

  • we have improved without key squad members and first teamers. Namely Zinny, Timber, Tomi, Partey, Vieira, ESR and Jesus.

  • that song about emptying stadiums is immense.

Who the hell is thinking about the Balogun sale first and foremost?? :joy:

ooh I must’ve missed this… is it related to West Ham?

Me. It was a good fucking sale! One feather in the cap of Edu.

It also means that Trossard gets more chances at cf!

State of the Arsenal: I’m enjoying MOTD for the first time in months

Sure, but why is it uppermost in your mind? :joy: surely there are more important things this season.

Think it started there! Emptying stadiums everywhere we go.

Bloody hell fella! I prefaced the original post with random. Why the analysis?!

I’m just genuinely in amazement anyone is even thinking about Balogun anymore :grinning:

I think about Mudryk 3 times a month and (thank the most high), he never kicked a ball for us.

------------------Caicedo-----Vieira--------------
—Saka---------Odegaard---------Mudryk------
--------------------Balogun-------------------

Is that random enough for you?

Same.
The dominos that would have transpired if we paid for Mudryk.
No Trossard, No Rice.
If Rice, No Havertz/Raya
