The State of The Arsenal

Preeeecisely. What is the point of sending in high crosses when your main striker is a certified shortarse.

“The Unavailables” As it was eloquently put on Reddit earlier.

Really hope we can elevate into becoming a top tier club in the near future.

The reality is if you haven’t won a league title in 20 + years and never won in the Champions League you just aren’t a top tier club.

Fingers crossed Mikel and the current group change that in the coming 3 or so years.

I think once we win the UCL, we can enter the conversation with Real, Barca, Utd, Liverpool and Bayern.

We’re not there yet, historically speaking.

Revenue wise, we’re up there - but it terms of major honours, they all eclipse us (for now).

No it ain’t, to be a massive you gotta win the big prizes.

Unfortunately outside of England the FA cup is substantially on the wane, nobody really gives a fuck if you win a domestic cup or 2.

Ah, that explains it.

So predictable and easy to play against right now.

Last season, you’d believe we could come back from any scenario. Become hopeless this season as soon as we go a goal behind.

Mikel should just play a low block in the next few games. Get a few nil-nil draws and get some points on the board.

1 point from 9.

Just a bad patch. We regroup in 2024 :fist:t2:

Still so much to play

Wtf Trossard

Not just a bad patch. We’re seeing the real level of this team play out. It’s a solid top four challenging team nothing more. That’s still a good achievement from where Arteta took over but there are still levels to go before we’re back winning a title. Maybe in the coming years the club can take those crucial steps.

Ah, thought this was the match thread :joy:

Title challenge died today
