The State of The Arsenal

It’s becoming a pattern with the likes of Tomi, ESR and Vieira where they play a couple games and then get injured.

Nelson is the same but he just hasn’t played enough to get injured, lol. Give him a couple appearances on the bounce and he’ll manage to be get injured like he usually does.

Partey at least used to give us 30-40 apps a season and he was tremendous in them as well.
He also has to go next summer though, let’s be honest.

Say what you want about Nketiah, Jorginho and other shitters but at least they were there when they were needed.

If your squad depth is constantly absent then you’ve got no squad depth.

Was last season the only time he gave us a good year without huge injuries, or was he injury free in previous seasons here? I thought he’s always been injury prone, apart from last season and basically his whole career at Athletico.

33, 26 and 40 appearances each.

Vieira has mainly just been crap and not played for that reason, to be “fair.”

He’s been decent, just been out for too long this season.

Not Tomi, he’s too good to be shipped out and we have reasonable backups available for him. Partey and ESR have to go.

Could it be argued that since we have reasonable backups for Tomi that it makes even more sense to ship him out (after he signs his contract so we keep some value)? Where as if he was the only capable one in his position, then we should keep him at all costs?

FWIW, I love the guy and want him to succeed here - but he’s had like 3 or 4 injuries already in his short tenure so far. Seems like he’s going the way of Tierney as it stands. :frowning:

A fit Partey is arguably one of our best players, but persistent injuries mean it might be better to sell him, if we can get a decent fee and also ESR who rarely gets on the bench let alone the first team.
But I’d keep Tomiasu unless the injuries get too much, because he’s younger and a quality squad player.

High finishing striker? Sounds like some FC 24 discussion going on here. Say no more let me check the Futbin database and get back to you with potential targets :ok_hand:t3:

On a serious note though Ivan Toney is the clear and obvious move to make. Not just for this season but the seasons following this one. He has every facet to his game needed to address the gaps in our striking options. Relegating Nketiah to 3rd choice and essentially out the club is an inevitable path now for a side on the trajectory of Arsenal. Eddie cannot hang at this level.

Which targets did you find?

Chasing a title and losing like that fuck off about title challenge bottling cunts

City lost to them as well lol

They ain’t no scrubs

They were absolute dog shit today we had chances all game and should have buried these lot in the dirt but being the fucking bottlers we are we fall on our arse time and time again in a position of strength. SHITTEST loss of the season. We are not winning it

Major overreaction tbh and that term is so overused. Losing the 16th league game of the season doesn’t really strike me as a bottle job. Just a shit loss that can happen.

3 points to go top and make a statement against a side rolling over for you giving you an empty run at goal from minute 1 to 90 and you can’t even score one chance?? That’s a total bottlejob
