When Iâve taught about Weimar Germany I have used Freddo prices to explain inflation and hyperinflation.

Seems like a fun and light-hearted way to engage kids with politics, rather than a serious campaign that will eat up lots of time that should be spent on more serious matters, so Iâm ok with this.

Seriously, get rid of citizenship/PPSC or whatever it called.
Secondary schoolers should have an hour a week dedicated to practical personal finance skills and an understanding basic economics.
Both things youâre referring to (neither of which are taught anymore) included personal finance components. âBasic economicsâ is a very ambiguous term. Personal finance is also still taught to students from an early stage of secondary school.
Also, what on earth do you expect students to be learning about personal finance for the approximately 180 hours youâve prescribed across five years of secondary school?
