I was involved in a road collision today cycling home in the torrential rain. I’m okay luckily although I do have a bruise on my left knee…
the cat that ran into traffic and knocked me off my bike seemed to get away okay too

From my position on the ground it looked like a regular sized adult cat tbh
I was being silly, assume what happened is you swerved yo avoid the cat and fell as a result, but I read the tweet as if you hit the cat itself and it sent you flying.
I hit the cat and sent me flying. There was no time to swerve or register that the cat had run into the road.
Oh damn, guess I underestimated just how easily people go flying on bikes. Glad you’re both mostly OK
