I’ve said it before, but pleeease stop with these cringey fake text convos :joy:

So out of touch haha

Not confirmed yet, but this is why i don’t get excited when i see Labour saying they’ll do something

Yep

Lammy is such a bitch. Ever since Grenfell I knew this guy was a bitch

So this is why Starmer was talking about the importance of Maths during the election!

Street interview content is shite content.

ā€œI found a random person on the street who isn’t very well educated, let’s all laugh at their lack of understanding of mathematicsā€

Yeah, well done mate, good stuff.

Also to add it’s so blind obviously fake lol

It’s not fake. If you ask enough people, you’ll always find some people who aren’t very good at a subject and aren’t used to being in front of a camera.

I still concede it’s fake

It’s fake in the sense that it’s manipulated to give a false impression.

I’d find street content more entertaining if they left in the footage of people telling them to fuck off and get a job.

Interesting

Schools when some students are consistently kicking off seem like a hellish place at the moment

I’d wait and see what the changes actually are. Schools need the ability to enforce calm learning environments but if the goal is to get rid of psychotic behaviour regimes that disadvantage kids because they talked in line for a lesson I can’t see a problem.

The guardian article talks about getting rid of repeated suspensions, which is a goal I’d broadly agree with. Sometimes suspension is necessary to safeguard other students (and indeed, sometimes staff) but I certainly question its validity as a behaviour measure.

Sound like a poor policy outline and cover for bad/lazy parents to me.

I’ve no idea how rough it is in schools now. Have 25- and 50-minute detentions gone now? It worked pretty well for us. I’m supposing that’s called child abuse to some degree, now.

lol some people will lap that shit up. Here’s a few random subjects and snippets where we can make the previous government look shit (they were) without an actual step by step plan to implement or pay for it all.

Can’t wait til labour get an actual challenge to face rather than just pop off cheap wins against the lowest bar they’ve ever come up against.

First backtrack within 3 weeks of taking office would be a hilarious start for this super ā€˜country first, party second’ best government ever.
