Think the Tories will oust him
That’s surely one too many internal power struggles even for the Tories.
Perhaps the clearest indication that there is an imminent General Election is when Little Rishi rules one out.
He’s been a PM who delivers what the country doesn’t want at every turn so there’s another clue it will be soon.
Or perhaps he’s hinting at a new Home Office plan to outlaw elections because they don’t think they’re being fascist enough, yet.
I’m so sick of politics. The human race is one big shit show.
It’s difficult to pick any holes in your argument.
If you started a new political party, that would be a great slogan.
It might be a bit ironic, but it’s factually correct and most people would agree with it.
I am desperate for one.
Get rid of this awful lame duck government
Blatantly looting the country and ruining it as much as possible so they can blame labour for the problems soon.
There are moments in politics that are talked about forever and not in a good way.
It feels like Little Rishi’s announcement that he’s cancelling the HS2 to Manchester in a former railway terminal in Manchester might just be one of those political own goals of our time.
If you want further irony, the station was closed in 1969 as a direct result of the loss of services across the North after the Beeching Cuts, which was a Conservative Government review of railway passenger numbers based on fiddled and unreliable statistics.
Smoking age limit to go up by 1 every year (if they win).
Can’t wait till these awful cunts, and evil vile septic cunts like Braverman are put out to pasture next year.
Fuck off and never come back, you TMNT faced cunt.
I don’t think the public perception of the Tories will have improved over the course of this conference.
What I find baffling is that we know they’re desperate to hold on to power yet they are consistently messaging to the 26% who say they will vote Tory and the 6% who support UKIPS or Gammon Nation or whatever they’re called.
There’s this huge middle ground of voters who are reluctantly considering Labour but are there for the taking with a few sensible policy ideas and a bit of empathy towards every day struggles and the Tories just keep getting more extreme instead.
I’ve been interested in politics for 40 years and I’ve never a PM miss so many PR tap-ins.
David Cameron showing his face talking about long-term of this country. This man has the absolute cheek.
There has never been a more corrupt set of politicians running the country since Thatcher was PM.
But why makes it worse, is that Labour aren’t much better, they’re just less worse.
Both parties are full of self serving liars that are only interested in furthering their own careers rather than the interests of normal working people.
Let’s hope the Lib Dems are paying attention because they should be taking advantage of the situation.
I’m curious, what is it about Labour’s proposed policies make them just slightly less worse than the Conservatives? @InvincibleDB10 Is it because Kier Starmer is more of a centrist than a true left leader?
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Conservatives get in again after all this mess, the votes will just be more spread out across multiple parties, and whilst we still have a system that focuses on choosing 650 MPs based on your location instead of the total population, I’m not sure there’s much hope.
I wonder if Labour & Lib Dems will try a coalition this time around; was pretty shocking how it went last time in 2010
I hugely disagree with starmer and his milquetoast announcements so so much.
However he is leagues more impressive as a human than the majority of the Tory party.
He comes from a proper working class background, his dad a bus driver.
And became a KC, through merit. One of the best, highest level lawyers in the country.
Successful in the real world.
He is undoubtedly competent in his field.
Doesn’t necessarily mean he is a good PM or leader, but he will be leagues above the current utter fucking idiots.
I don’t know what their policies are and although I would usually lean more towards them, the Lib Dems seem slightly more attractive.
But, like you say, if there was a coalition between Labour and the Lib Dems, it would certainly be better than the embarrassing coalition of Cameron and Clegg.
