I’ll never have faith in @Phoebica predictions.
The fact she thinks Everton will be a walk in the park has be genuinely concerned, we’ll be the sort of opponent to gift them a 1st win in 10.

Tbf, she shouldn’t change either. I like the positivity even if I can’t often get on board with it.
I’d prefer to see the positivity on field in actual performances and results.
I wouldn’t mind seeing both.
You’ll get the positivity from fans when that happens.
Right now do you have any confidence we’ll go to Everton and win comfortably ? Or you think it’ll be coin flip with small margins ?
I haven’t had confidence in Arsenal in about 8 years. But if others have it I don’t mind that at all.
TBF Everton are pretty damn bad… like worst in 10 years at least bad.
Charity FC comes to town~
Yeah they’re trash I agree, but even if we take the lead I’m not sure we’ll be the foot on the throat team away from home. I can see us sitting on it and gifting Everton a foothold into the match.
Yeah I just wish it was based on logic and as opposed to blind supporter faith that’s all.
We hadn’t won in an Old Trafford stadium with fans in the league since 2006, it was staggering to see a few so confident of a comfortable win.
I’m gutted though, I wish they were right.
Good analysis to be fair. Reckon he is pissed at Martinelli for that chance in the first half. He was hesitant to say he played well and pointed that chance he missed.
Im sure Mikel will have sleepless nights now. Having the backing from a Melbourne plumber is vital.
Woke up feeling very disappointed today. When we were behind we started to play against a team who were there for the taking. Would have won if played like we wanted to dominate all the way through.
Played with hand brake on too much which is on Arteta.
Auba has become a joke too. Manager has to be blamed for allowing this to continue game after game.
Must do better. Currently doesn’t deserve another window.
We were always gonna give them a possession at some point.
Happens at every game, whether you’re Arsenal or City. Case in point, Pep’s City were defending their lead at Villa Park when they could have just kept going. They almost parked the bus in the second half. It allowed Villa to come back in the game and should have gotten at least a draw.
Arteta was pushing the team to keep going forward after the goal. Multiple reporters who were at the game admitted as such and when Arteta was questioned about it he said the same thing.
Arteta couldn’t just go in the field and force the players to not do that.
It’s just the natural flow of games, especially if you play away.
Either way, we created chances in the game but were too immature when taking them. It’s natural with our young team although you expect better with someone like Auba.
Not gonna lie this was an enormous L for Arteta
United were without Varane, Wan-Bissaka, Shaw and Pogba and we had the lead in fortunate circumstances. Every time we actually pushed forward and made it end to end we were on equal footing. When we sat back we were completely shit even defensively.
His pussy low block tactics and selection of Elneny over Maitland-Niles and Sambi, plus leaving Pepe on the bench late on came back to bite him. He proved once again why he’s just not good enough as a manager to take us forward beyond maybe a top six finish (which is still a step up from the last few seasons).
I was pretty salty yesterday and woke up in a post-salt mood today. I feel like we got some things right but some crucial parts of the tactics wrong, and am a bit bummed Auba failed to score from 2 yards again .
We got a lucky goal early but tbh they had us pushed back pretty badly the rest of the first half. Second half was up and down. We created a couple of chances but failed to score, felt that not getting Laca on earlier to help transport the ball was a mistake, not playing Pepe at all was a mistake, nor trying to shuffle the midfield around a bit when we saw that we could barely string 3 passes together against their mediocre press, was poor and could’ve mitigated the results.
But most of all I get salty when we have a chance to beat United and we don’t, I feel like we often play better than them but they get the result and it pisses me off, especially that one game a few years ago when De Gea decided to put in the best GK performance in the history of the sport against us leaving me triggered for weeks after lol
He’s not an exceptional talent as a manager to merit the extraordinary patience and deference the Arsenal board has given him. They have just given him all that due to a combination of laziness and incompetence on their part. I had an open mind for probably three quarters of last season, but I am pretty much reconciled with this now. There isn’t much difference from Solksjaer really, even though the strengths and weaknessess might be a little different.
@Iceman agree bro Arteta is another Ole, maybe even a Btec version
Those aren’t great options for old Trafford away unfortunately. We all know Elneny’s limitations and Sambi has shown his inexperience over the last few weeks. However that doesn’t excuse the piss poor management by Arteta. More aggressive tactics would help instead of just inviting pressure, but it just highlights how inexperienced Arteta is and why we should never have entrusted a rookie with this task. Guendouzi a French international is on loan, he’s the type of guy who lives for these moments, again another Arteta failing. AMN should be playing RB, or at least be on the field. No clue what Mikel is doing tbh, I don’t think he knows either. Throwing shit at the wall.
If not injured, Tierney should be starter instead of Tavares also.
I don’t mind Arteta (managers) having his favorites, what frustrated me most is, we always pulled the handbrake after we scored and asked the opponents to hit us hard.
Either too cautious, or too dumb.
