Yeah Pépé probably should have started, but at the very least should have come on at HT and Nelson should have been hooked.
Given that we don’t know anything about Arteta as a manager, how can you be so sure he wouldn’t do the scaring and intimidating that you expect an Allegri or a Simeone to do?
The performance on the pitch would suggest he isn’t.
He’s another smotherer of these pampered prima donnas
We are one game in?! Or are you trolling?
Nope.
I honestly couldn’t see any discernible difference. I said the same when Emery came in and gave a shitshow in his first game v Man City.
Arteta is going to do nothing for this club.
What? Arteta hasn’t turned us into the Haarlem Globetrotters of the EPL after a week in charge?
Fucking fraud!
#ARTETAOUT
What needs to happen for Arsenal to change then in your opinion?
Troll.
Play the first minute like it’s the last and we’re a goal behind.
Don’t let heads drop after going a goal behind.
Create more chances (against a team like Bournemouth, this shouldn’t be a big ask)
Have a better defensive shape (wasn’t there yesterday)
Im glad that the vast majority of Arsenal fans can see how much good progress Arteta made after just 3 TRAINING SESSIONS.
Calling for Artetas head already is a sign og either.
- trolling
- no willingness to give a new headcoach a chance after being against the appointment from day 1.
- Jealous of the hairline
I saw improvements to our possession game yesterday. And im sure Arteta, given time, will show to be a managerial genious for our beloved football club. PREM 2021 TROPHY HERE WE COME !
Genuinely not.
Clearly, it’s not a popular opinion, though, so I’ll quieten down about it.
Given the mess that Emery left this squad in, both mentally and from a tactical perspective, it will take considerable time to get the squad back believing in themselves and also playing coherently.
Arteta has not had time to coach the team press, work on defensive organisation etc. It’s unfair to expect an amazing performance given our embarrassingly low starting point, and the little time he’s had to work with the players (and still doesn’t have a full coaching team with him).
If you’re still pointing out these same things in 6 months time then we have a serious issue.
In any event, I thought we did all 4 of the things you mention in your post anyway.
Oh great. Moved on from Wenger now have you. Took a while.
Why should you. Clubs in a mess and im like you im guessing struggling to be enthused about anything Arsenal right now.
Leeds in the cup keeping me focused for now ( naturally).
Wish I had this incredible foresight after 3 training sessions and one game in charge. Bravo
Stroller and DavidHillier are either trolling or are so negative that they’re effectively trolling.
Should be able to blank out some of their comments.
Or we could just go into hiding like you have for periods of time.
Don’t worry. It’ll grow back.
You can ignore posters if you really want to. I want Arteta to work out as I’m sure Dave and Stroller do too but I’d be lying if I said I thought it was going to or if I was prepared t get enthused about a semi competent performance against one of the leagues worst teams.
I’m definitely prepared to give it time as I would with any new coach but some of the nonsense already being written about the Arteta era is beyond ridiculous.
Yeah tbh im probably guilty of reactng to some of the nonsense and then become the polar opposite.
