But our record against Newcastle and Aston villa is terrible ffs. It’s embarrassing having these shit teams from utter hellholes have the jump on us.

It’s a disastrous record at this point, FA Cup win included.
Can’t go far in cup competitions if you’re not efficient in the two penalty boxes.
You can’t concede stupid goals and you have to take your chances.
As much as I want to say the latter is the problem, the fact is that both have been our problem.
It’s incredible how good we are defensively yet some of the goals we’ve conceded in the cups and Europe the past 3 years goals have been so uncharacteristically bad.
With the uphill battle now in the PL to beat Liverpool, we really have to change this in the Champions League this season.

So we should sack Arteta if the club don’t deliver an attacking signing?
He wanted Isak and the club didn’t believe his release clause represented value for money. He wanted Vlahovic and he chose Juventus. He wanted Sesko and he didn’t want the move.
He’s openly chased Nico Williams and the player either wanted Barcelona or nothing. He wanted Raphina and he chose Barcelona.
The list goes on… you can’t hold Arteta to account for the club not being able to secure his primary attacking targets.
