I’ve been beating the Conte drum for years meanwhile all these nerd managers renowned for their so called “modern football and progressive game” haven’t been winning shit lol.
I’ll take my disciplinarian Italian coach who blends the old school catenaccio with a bit of some of the modern game over them nerd managers who need 4 years to implement their system lol

Abraham has been shit for a few seasons now and that injury last year or the year before didn’t help
Abraham had over 30 G/As in his first season at Roma.
This guy won’t come close to it, the fact Ranieri benched him for Shomurodov says a lot.
Should have stuck with Abraham instead of paying 40m for him and use those funds differently. But of course they love wasting money, that’s why they wasted 25m on Le Fee only for him to fuck off 6 months later. Bar Kone, their business has been atrocious in the summer.
Apparently Conte isn’t happy with how it all went. May backfire with Inter still there.

This season their output is pretty close, even though one has been sharing minutes with another striker.
Dovbyk: 16 G/As in in 2250 minutes
Abraham: 13 G/As in 1300 minutes
And that’s not even taking into account that the former can’t trap a ball or help out off the ball.
I will give him that he hasn’t been as useless as Le Fee and Soule, but he alongside those 2 were the 3 big signings in the summer and none of them have made the desired impact.
Have just seen Fiorentina slapped Inter in that match that got interrupted some months ago after Bove collapsed.
