On another note I wasnât surprised to see Juventus and AC Milan dumped out of the tournament. Both have been run pretty badly over the last few years.
I was surprised to see Atalanta lose so badly despite their recent run of form I expected them to game raise and dispatch of Club Brugge.
Hiring Motta and signing dross like Koopmeiners (another player who can only play in one system), Douglas Luiz, Lloyd Kelly⌠You can trace Juventus decline right back to the moment they signed Cristiano Ronaldo.
AC Milan were on the comeback path with Maldini at the helm they sack him and Massara and suddenly theyâre run by incompetent people who make bad managerial hires and donât strengthen the right way in the market.
