Scum

Its especially delicious that the absence of the two kinds of players Conte wanted but didn’t get this summer - a creative winger/AM who could provide some of the same things as Kulusevski and a ready-made top class RWB rather than a kid prospect like Spence - both killed Spurs today.

I guarantee Conte is seething about it.

The guy absolutely hates losing and it has to bother him to no end to be in a situation where he is playing with a weaker hand financially than a number of his rivals. If the Juve job opens up next summer and Spurs finish 3rd/4th he is gone for sure.

Can’t wait to see Kane & Son leave !!

Its not even necessary. They are both past their peak now. Especially Kane. Basically just a sack of potatoes up front jogging about. Scoring tap ins and pens exclusively will catch up with him eventually. Son has been good for 20 mins this season LOL!

Money well spent :joy:

they could have cashed in and had a couple of hundred million to play with…might have spent poorly though. I reckon the fans will soon bleating that they should have sold and be upset they didnt get the money to spend wisely soon enough.

As long as Conte leaves, it doesn’t matter too much if they stay.
After this season spurs could still get more than 50m for Kane but Son has lost his form from recent seasons so I doubt they’d get much more than £30m for him.

They spent quite a bit in the last window so, unless they sell Kane or Son, they’re not going to invest as much again. so It would be better for us if they stay and run their contracts down.

Maybe Matt Doherty is yet to delete all of his Arsenal fan boy tweets.

Glad to see that playing Emerson Royale instead is working out well for him.

At the start of the season he was saying how well Doherty was doing recovering from injury and training.

Wasted his career with that transfer

Has the collapse begun?

Doesn’t want to win either with those impotent tactics

Conte is clearly concerned otherwise he wouldn’t be doing this transparent attempt at lighting a fire under their ass.

If you’re Harry Kane and you see City and Arsenal in the PL and you see your team being crap and getting found out in all competitions—AND you know the history of your club, how do you not say “yeah definitely not going to win anything here”!?

England team isn’t giving any hope either.

We thought these cunts collapsed last season but then they bounced back and managed to capitalise on our failings.

So they are far from dead and buried.

But why is this suddenly the turning point for the media? Spurs have been playing shit football and getting lucky results all season. They got battered by a very poor Chelsea side which is where major alarm bells should have been going. Completely outclassed by a “rival” . Then they go to Arsenal and the exact same thing happens again, except they got what they deserved this time - zero points.

Conte’s football is shitting the bed in the big games, but Spurs are fluking their way into good results. That’s what happens when you have one of the best attacking trios in the league to carry you through rough patches.

Unfortunately, they’ll still be right up there at the end of the season. 3rd or 4th given that Chelsea will be transitioning to Potter-ball, United remain a mess and Liverpool are in their own slump.

I think their thin front line is going to be a big problem over the next 5-6 weeks. Moura looks permacrocked and Conte doesn’t rate Gil at all, so its four players for three positions and that’s assuming Kulu comes back soon and stays healthy.

Meanwhile, Kane already looks really jaded but Conte refuses to rest him, even late in matches like the 6-2 against Leicester or the match against us when he surrendered with his other subs. Kane looked like he was running in mud yesterday. And they have 11 matches in the next 35-40 days or so.

Perversely, this is where being in the EL actually helps us as we are much more free to rotate in the likes of Eddie, Marquinhos, Nelson, or Vieira for a couple members of our front three in those matches.

Very good analysis to be honest. Also it doesn’t look like Richarlison is doing anything down the right. He’s more capable on the left or up front. He hasn’t hot the ground running like Kulu so that’s good to see.
I wouldn’t say his two goals vs 10-man Marseille is anything.

May their struggles and downward trajectory continue.

I am glad people have started looking at Conte’s tactics and how boring the football is.

Last season, Conte would have missed out on Top 4 if we kept our heads for just one more game. Conte couldn’t put a gap between his squad & a really young Arsenal team who lost 3 matches in a row.

Damn…
