Scum

Yet somehow they haven’t won shit to show for it.
Gonna be pretty awkward in 10 years when they look back at it.

Yeah they’ve missed the boat and not winning a domestic cup or two.

For clubs like Arsenal and Spurs I can’t see the heights being greater than a domestic here and there coupled with CL participation.

Transfermarkt has CL participations listed in the honours section.
What has happened to football?

Transfermrkt is a very useful website.

But it’s entire purpose us to supply Twitter nerds and people on forums with info to win their internet discussions/arguments. They are just pandering to their base.

Listening to 606 and there have been 2 Spurs fans calling in saying Spurs can win the league next season :ozil:

They just scraped into the top 4, yet next season they can outplay City and Liverpool. Give over.

One of them even said that the reason they’ll finish above City is because City are losing Fernandinho.

Jokers.

3rd place is definitely achievable for them.

The top 2 are just that much better than everyone else, they’re dreaming if they think they’ll win the league.

This means nothing TBH. I mean, if we were to finish above them for a few seasons because they were struggling, I don’t think it would mean all that much to us. At the end, what matters is how convinced we are in our “project”. If we have to compare ourselves to them, we clearly aren’t doing things right.

So fucking glad we missed out on CL. Saw some people saying we were gonna do a pitch invasion like City’s if we made it to the CL.

A) No, it is not fucking trophy
B) CL doesn’t matter if you don’t win it
C) The money you get from CL is nothing compared to what you get in the PL.
D) Ambitious clubs do not cling on CL money to push on

I suppose given point B it’ll never matter, not like we’ll ever win it.

Might as well get relegated from PL and drop down to the championship since we will never win it.

I always thought fans would rather see their team perform against the cream of the crop instead of battering carpenters and electricians from countries that most can’t point out on the map.

Yes, ambitious clubs push on to win every competition they’re in.
If the end goal is for a club to just be in the mix, you end up like Arsenal in the CL, waiting for the bang to happen…

I don’t believe you

I would probably avoid football for a good week if I saw Arsebal fans running into the field to celebrate getting back to the CL.

I’ve also come into the realization that the squad is nowhere near ready for the extra load of CL. Not just in numbers but in maturity.
Would have ended in tears, no doubt.

Give over with this bullshit man ffs

Why do fans pretend like having ambition generates internal revenue?
There is no ambition without money and the owners will not do charity every season.
We have lost close to 200-300m because of the lack of CL.

We could be hella ambitious with 200-300m in our kitty

If you see my reasoning you’ll understand why.
I can’t stand people treating it like a trophy when our rivals don’t even think about it.
It’s embarrassing and shows we’ve truly lowered our level to West Ham and Leicester goals…

What’s embarrassing you is you pretending you actually didn’t want to finish in the top four as some weird coping mechanism for not making top four.

“Never fancied her anyway” in it’s most outrageous form yet.

Only when their top 4 place is secured.

United fans are gutted and Spurs fans would have been too if they missed
