Rumor is that Conte will make 20m a year.
In the end, Conte doesnāt really have any other options and so the decision to take 20m a year at Spurs or the year away from football is a pretty easy one.
But unless things go great from the jump I think he will start looking for an exit pretty quickly. He wants to win the CL and league titles. Unless those goals actually seem within reach, heāll move to a club where they are more realistic as soon as one of those jobs opens up.

Georgie Graham is arguably the best Arsenal manager weāve had.
Stakes a claim to be Mr Arsenal given how well he served us as a player.
He did well as a manager at Spurs too. One of only two managers who has won them a trophy in the last 30 years. The move there was fully justified for him at a personal level.

Making one hire is not ambition. Even if he joins itās still very likely Kane goes in the summer, even more likely when England inevitably get dumped out on pens in the quarter finals as per.
Sacking poch wasnāt a great move. Hiring mourinho was dumber, sacking him a week before a final and putting in a work experience kid as managerā¦I can only fucking imagine what people would say about that if we did it.
Thier squad is aging. They have huge debt. They are going to throw 20m at Conte and hope for a miracle. Heāll walk away in 18 months, reputation largely in tact (beause itās fucking spurs and you canāt expect him to win shit there) with a suitcase full of cash and spurs will be handing some other intern the reigns.
Even if Spurs do attempt to throw money they donāt have at this it wonāt work.
