Is Havertz on the record saying he doesn’t think workers should own the means of production or something? Why are you so opposed to him?

Mark Schwartzer for 10m? Nah, better ride with Almunia.
Preface: I could be wrong…
Mark Schwarzer was quoted to us at like 2m, maybe 2.5m, not signing him due to the fee was astronimically stupid, assuming he’s the guy we really wanted.
A nothing fee.

This is the kind of post that might mildly annoy me had it been in direct response to me… but lol

A nothing fee.
I’m only going off a memory from a John Cross story or maybe an appearance on Arseblog that we even wanted Schwartzer. If the price was that low it makes the lack of action even more negligent from Wenger.
@Leper worse, he’s revealed a deep and abiding love for country music and Duke basketball
With or without Schwarzer, Wenger was enough negligent in many times.
Szodropabollock, Gary Macallister and Labia would be quite a massive rebuild of their midfield. Much needed.
Still think CB will be their undoing. They have to sign 2 there imo.
Conversely for Arsenal, it feels really nice to have 4-5 good options there. We’ve got a solid bank to rely on in Gabriel, Saliba, White, Tomiyasu and now Timber. Kiwior is also looking much more solid so far.

I think Klopp is hoping VVD will not drop off any more than he has already, and do enough to keep them relevant. They clearly don’t have the money to revamp their defense and midfield in the same window. We might go back to seeing the Liverpool of a few years ago where they’d concede 3 and score 4.
140m to completely revamp their midfield while selling two shitters for 50m at the same time.
Liverpool done well this summer. Hope someone flops and it costs them bad, otherwise they’re competing with us.
Not convinced by the Liverpool rebuild. Konate and Dias are quality; Gakpo, Darwin (for now), MacAllister, Sir Boz Eyed and Lavia still have a lot to prove.
Bar Gakpo, I think all the previously mentioned players are very talented but I’m not worried about any. Think we have better talent.
Saliba = Konate or close at least. I might lean Saliba.
Martinelli = Dias. Martinelli is the bigger goal threat but Dias is quite some player.
Saka >>>>>>Gakpo
Rice >> Lavia
Havertz = MacAllister I’d actually rather MacAllister but both need to prove them self.
Nunez we don’t have a age or rebuild equivalent for. Jesus? I rate both but prefer Jesus.
Not worried about Liverpool next year.
A massive fee for a guy from last season’s rock bottom team. A guy who was a nobody before and only had a decent season, nothing extraordinary.
Compared to this the fee for Rice seems totally justified.
The Premier League (/Championship) tax is truly bigger than ever.

TBF Ramsdale was similarly situated and has done really well.
I agree, although Ramsdale never played in the PL before, so his fee looked even more inflated at that time tbh…
He’s worth three times that nowadays luckily Fantastic scouting.
Ramsdale played 2 full seasons in the Prem.
Dude starting to have more blunders than expected
The defence is the biggest question, it’s on the slide and they aren’t doing a single thing about it
Woops, my bad
I really don’t watch enough football outside Arsenal
(feeling a little embarrassed tbh; had no clue Rambo was actually out there on the PL fields before Arsenal )
I looked it up myself to make sure, don’t feel bad.
Well it is now yeah. I’d have said the midfield was the bigger priority before they went buying every CM they could find.
Might be able to eek a decent season out of matip and vvd, they still managed that good run to end the season last year.
Doubt they can replace them both this summer as well.
