Hey you do you. Like I told @Pires , this is a judgment free zone.
That is the usual scenario with our board.
Maybe Saka has indicated that he wonāt sign a new contract and wants to go to a bigger club so weāre preparing for if he leaves.
If he does go, itās likely to be Man City and theyāre going to have to pay at 100m, which is about what weāll spend on Jesus and Raphina.
Itās basically what Villa did with Grealish. They spent the money and then sold the player.
Here. We. Go.
Almost gave me a heart attack there
Is it? Like when?
HERE WE HERE WE HERE WE FUCKING GO
People shouldnāt be worried about Saka leaving due to us bringing in quality players, the more talent we have at the club actually increases our chances of keeping Bukayo long term imo.
Longari chatting with ArsenalNexus lmao.
Anyway, Raphinha ālikes us so muchā.
Thatās good enough for me!
He comes off as a focused hard working player. Havenāt seen too much ego from him when Iāve watched Leeds this previous season.
Honestly this potential transfer excites me
more than possibly getting Jesus.
@GC-Maniac if we sign Raphinha do you think we will start Saka on left wing, Raphinha on right wing, with Jesus up front?
Thatās what I think.
It does make sense. My understanding is that Raphinha predominately plays on the right. Saka can play on the left, but do wonder whether we would get the best out of him in that position given how good he has been over the last couple of seasons.
Possibly. We may see them rotating. I was a fan of the period when we had our wide players and playmakers behind the striker interchanging positions, specifically with Saka, ESR and Pepe. I think we played by far our best football in 20/21 with those 3. Granted, it didnāt last long as Pepe isnāt Mikelās cup of tea but we may see Saka/Raphinha switching around during games. Hell, add Jesus in there.
We certainly now have 6 players who can do that(playing across all front 3 positions). Even Eddie looked great as an inside forward last season.
