I think Deco would be trying to manufacture a deal with his former club first and foremost.

Oh for sure, but he can’t make the money appear or force them off of other targets.
If Barcelona’s hierarchy are dead set on chasing Lewandowski all summer, Deco can either tell his client to try to wait it out or consider other opportunities.

I’m saying the opposite - we’d find a place for him in our team much easier than Spurs given their firepower. Whether that’s on our right or left. At Spurs the only “open” slot is RW - the other two are locked down by Kane and Son.

They are in the CL and any injury to Kane or Son means they have very little quality upfront.
He might be tempted by CL and Conte but we could probably pay him higher wages.

Feels like too much.
I saw some reporting before that Barcelona was quoted 55m (don’t know if the reporting was accurate and I can’t remember whether it was euros or pounds). But that seems like the right neighborhood, 50-55m pounds.
Wouldnt go above 50 mil for a player that might be mostly a bench player. There must be alternatives for less in Europe.
