Raphinha

Well, if we do, he ain’t coming as backup.
Ramsdale theory.

Seriously?

He walks into this team lol

Where?

Damsgaard or Skov Olsen as wing depth and Mæhle as LWB competition. Wind as striker.

Could be done for less than one Raphinha. Do it Edteta!! :denmark: :denmark:

Don’t worry about it @The_Invincibles is going to do that daily transfer tracker for us for the rest of the off season

Honestly, people are putting too much focus on position with this transfer.

Seems clear to me that all three of Saka, Raphinha and Jesus will be very interchangeable and occupying all three positions on the frontline throughout a game.

This isn’t FUT where if you play a RW in LW he loses 10 skill points.

But Gabs and Rowey? Also he looks to be a RW specialist which means Saka has to be moved to LW.

Im not against signing Raf but 60m just seems like stupid money in a stacked area.

If we’re serious about next season we’re staring down the barrel of 55+ games so there’ll be plenty of minutes to go around.

Yeah. Also 5 subs and a squeezed in WC.

There’s no way we’re gonna pay £65m

I rate Raphinha’s talent and I definitely can see the argument that playing in a poor Leeds side didn’t help his g+a production, especially this past year. But I do hope we don’t get carried away and make a dumb offer just because of the possibility that he might go to a rival. This is a guy who had 6 and 7 non-penalty goals in league play the past two seasons, who just two years ago was transferred for 17m from Rennes to Leeds. He isn’t an established superstar forward, he’s a quick, technical, talented player who will at least be an asset in the wing forward rotation and who might hit another level in a better setup.

£65m is way too much, especially given that we’ll probably be using him on the left a lot. He won’t be the next Pepe but if we pay that much I think we’ll look back on the transfer in a couple years and think wtf?

65m lelelelele suck a danish wurst

I figured it was always going to be something like that. This is their pay day for staying up

Going to be difficult to get the price down if all 4 clubs interest is legit. Who will buckle first.

£55m + £10m bonus linked to top 4, EL final, goals scored, 25+ apps etc.

Deal sorted.

Noooo we want gakpooo

If we’re paying more than 60m then he’s not coming here as a bench player.
But I agree, we’re not weak in that area so I’d prefer to spend big on a CM because we can’t go into another season with Xhaka.

Saying that, if we’re getting Raphina, as well as a top quality CM, then why not?
