I’m finding it incredibly cringe at the moment but everyone laps their shite up so they must be doing something right.
We’re obviously a really easy mark at the moment and deserve everything we get but their humour has turned very millennial/reddit-eque where they stumble around grabbing low hanging fruit and think they’re funnier than they actually are.
They used to be legitimately funny though, feels like they’ve lost their identity as much as we have.

TBH I think as far as corporate accounts go, Paddy Power actually is pretty funny. It’s low bar, but I think they’re pretty close to being industry leaders with regards to social media.
There’s obviously a load of basic shit that they churn out, a load of misses next to the hits, but I think they do actually put out a fair bit of decent content, like that video about our transfer committee.

Listening to Gunnerblog taking about rationality towards Arteta makes me wonder if he had similar stance for Wenger.
This made me look up Ross Barkley. He is still at Chelsea! So then I looked up Chelsea to see who else they had on their books. Bloody Kenedy! He’s gone on loan for the 800th time, but he is still a Chelsea player. He must have signed a new contract at some point, why?!

His main job revolves around Arsenal though. So he’ll never publicly go against the club for fear of being blacklisted.
Apparently he is a part time comedian as well, but I find him about as funny as a headache.
