Random football stuff

Like the one they couldn’t think of a lookalike for so just slapped a helmet on him

Marcelo and Cech the best ones

Do these dudes just happen to play together or do they play together because they look profession footballers?

When your order from Wish finally arrives.

I’ve thought about this again, and I’d still rather have Modric.

Seedorf or Iniesta in that team over both of them though.

I’d pick iniesta for his ability, but Seedorf for his clutch performances, he’s a match winner above almost any midfielder ever. Never seen him back down or cower, so many times seen him just say fuck this and go and win the match by himself.

The way he is overlooked these days.

Touch of racismo imo

I mean, if you wanna talk about racism, Pellegatti (and other commentators) called him Willy Wonka the chocolate king, regularly, on national tv.

This was such a “popular” name I’d often see it graffitid on walls on the walk to San Siro.

But yeah, criminally overlooked, he had it all, and had the personality, courage, charisma to lead any team ever.

Ppl genuinely mention lampard and Gerrard before him.

Makes my eyeballs explode

I mean Gerrard himself said he was better than Kaka :joy: so it’s not even just your everyday person, it’s the actual player himself who’s deluded.

Had to wash my eyes after that shitshow.

Anybody seen this? A bit of debate online whether Leeds Twitter admin should have put that out there as it made the pundit receive abuse online.

Reminds me of the whole issue we had couple of years ago when someone picked an all Spurs XI for his combined North London XI and the Arsenal Twitter made fun of him once we beat them.

The pundit being a female has made the abuse worse. :man_facepalming:

Oh come on that’s an outrageous claim she made, I think the Leeds Twitter feed are well within their rights to defend themselves.

That’s literally what social media platforms are for for football clubs.

I think their post is innocent tbh, it’s the fans and trolls behaviour that is despicable.

I don’t think the purpose of an official club twitter account is to call out individual pundits for comments made about your club. Sure, you can use it for that, but it’s not really their reason for existing.

Just seems unnecessary to me, no need to do it really. They just smashed WBA, a five nil away win as a newly promoted team, maybe just focus on that and don’t be so petty.

If you’re gonna use your official twitter account to call out pundits for ill informed comments then admin is gonna be very, very busy every weekend.

Just let it go imo.
