I’d have loved Ba, you look at a few of those players and it really comes down to not making the right step at the right time, they all we’re clearly talented but they got stuck in the limbo to being good to great players for middle or lower EPL teams.
Had they managed their careers a little better and moved up during their hype they might have had quite a slightly better outcome. I mean take Giroud, I wouldn’t say he’s largely any better than Michu or Ba, he just made smarter career choices and reaped the benefits of being at a top-ish- club.
