On second viewing you can actually see two of Chelsea’s media team behind him. In terms of PR exercise it would look complete shit him signing that and it would probably just open him up to hostility from Chelsea fans.

If I’m at some sort of official club event having just signed for a new club, I’m probably not signing a short of my former employers at that event.
Regardless of your opinion on whether he should or shouldn’t, it’s lose lose for Sterling as I think he 100% gets a pretty equal amount of stick just from different quarters, if he does sign the City shirt, that kind of footage or image is exactly the kind of nonsense social media loves.

Lol if I had kids I’d 100% miss their birthdays if it meant having a salary of 100k++/week. I get that it’s still important even if you are that wealthy but fuck me there are plenty of folk out there working way harder, missing kids’ bdays and getting paid less in a year than what he makes in a few days. Some of these cunts have no idea how out of touch they sound.
