Would have loved to have seen him play in our game on Tuesday but I guess we can wait. The fact that this might be happening after all is enough to keep my going for a while :). This definitely is Arsene’s last throw of the dice to get into the top 4, which I still think will be extremely difficult. Europa league might be the best way still.

I think wenger was expecting to keep sanchez as part of the team(i’m talking about 6-7 months ago when we were probably bidding/starting conversations for Laca).
As it didn’t work out and he was afraid to lose sanchez on a free, he went for PEA/the best available.
I don’t see PEA as a panic buy due to Laca poor performances/lack of adaptation. I see it as merely a replacement of Sanchez, a top leaves and another comes in.
Laca is at a top club now(not saying that Lyon isn’t but you get my point) and he needs to get used to this type of extra competition.
If he were at Atletico he would have to compete with costa among others as well.

Plenty of papers have reported all sorts about this, Ornstein obviously isn’t just sat there and copy and pasting info from another source, he’s now reporting this because he knows it has a basis in fact. He’s not just basing his tweets on Kicker, he clearly has his own sources.
