If it won’t be sanctioned until they have a replacement then there’s really no point getting excited.
Apart from on day one and day two them bullshitting about Batshuayi and Giroud, I’ve heard fuck all about them bagging a forward. Even an unhappy Auba is better than nobody, and maybe he won’t be unhappy if there’s an agreement that he’s definitely leaving in the summer if he stays for these 4 months.
But if it’s the only way to get the deal over the line I’ve no problem with a Giroud > Chelsea, Batman > Dortmund, Auba > Arsenal love triangle.

So bloody bored of David Ornstein now. Well I say now… but he never really excited me in the first place. He announces stuff that has already been reported and/or about to be confirmed. Doesn’t really give anything new. The memes were fun for a while but they’re getting a bit repetitive now, too.

To be fair Ornstein is more a stamp of approval rather than a news breaker. He’s very rarely wrong so gives validation to rumours more than anything.

When Jan/DialSquare/ArsenalHorse/Ballbag/Sevkhol/DiMarzio/any other fucking ITK wanker out there tweets something it’s just a baseless rumour it means nothing, but if Ornstein then comes out and tweets it, you know it’s legit because he tends to get his info from the club and because stuff usually happens immediately or closely after he tweets.
When Ornstein tweets, it’s pretty much factual, whereas we never have that same level of certainty with all the others.
