The big worry if we sold Sánchez was always our ability to sign a top quality replacement. Thought Aubameyang was out of our reach but looking like we’ve pulled it off. He is one of the best strikers in the world. Certainly not as complete a player as Sánchez but if used correctly, on paper he can replace the goal output.
A huge worry I’ve always had is that Arsenal would have lost a significant amount of “fear factor” with Sánchez gone but replacing him with Aubameyang is pretty good fucking work.
