Tbf I’ve never had any problems with Vodafone only changed for the much cheaper deal haha

O2 have good customer service though. When I upgrade/renew I always call them up rather than doing it online. I’ll make a note of deals other networks are offering and O2 have matched it for me. Also, I like O2 Priority.

O2 were good as well as they’re owner by Telefónica so they were the only telecom company to honour their Brexit pledge of keeping roaming in Europe.

However their coverage in the UK is shite, and EE have a free add-on that allows you to roam in the EU and US which is very handy. They also have BT Sports add-on so that I can swap that out with the roaming one when Arsenal play on BT haha

Been with 3 for years, their signal can indeed be patchy, but it works fine for me in my local area, in central where I work, so in effect I get good signal over 99% of the time.

I pay £7 a month for 30gb and unlimited minutes and calls sim only. Next to no incentive to ever change at that kind of price.

Yeah fair that’s very good.

I got 12gb and unlimited calls/texts with O2 for £12 a month which is why I was with them for like 5 years haha

How many phone networks are there in the UK?
In Portugal there are only 3, Meo ,Nos and Vodafone.
Vodafone are the equivalent of 2 tin cans connected to a bit of string, Nos only cover areas that have more than 3 houses and the rest of us have to use Meo who have a tight grip on everything like Stalinist Russia.

You have the big 4

Vodafone
O2
EE
3

Then literally lots more smaller ones like tesco mobile who use one of the big 4’s infrastructure

Vodafone have best non-ee coverage for Scotland.

Are their deals still pretty shit then?

Have this weird thing where I dont use companies that have or do sponsor rivals of Arsenal if I can help it

Vodafone is a no
3 is a no
Holsten Pills, never tried it
Hewlett Pakard, no way Jose
The list goes on and on

Their sim only deals are absolute bollocks now, check it out. EE have the best coverage but they are a rip off.

There was a time when they offered competitive sim only deals but their prices are a joke now.

Ive got 65" JVC purely because I wanted a JVC!

I used you switch and EE aren’t even on that lol. Everyone else is. Was between o2 and 3 and the terrible reviews for o2 swayed it for 3 :joy:

150 GB?! Why not just call it unlimited. Who will ever use that much data in a month.

I struggle to use more than 3gb per month haha.

Giffgaff are pretty good for their SIM only deals.

Was forced to buy a new iphone after the one I bought in 2018 reached it’s planned obsolescence date and became non-functioning and more expensive to fix than it’s worth.

Got the iphone 14 pro…it’s whatever. Not much different from my XS Max from 2018.

That’s some brand loyalty lol

Vodafone were my provider for 10 yrs until I switched to 3 in February :joy:
