Did someone help you out?

Android person here, but I think if you long press on an image, you will get a ‘Add to Photos’ option

All sorted Trion, thanks for asking. I go into settings and bugger about with things I shouldn’t do !
It was something about iPhone images . I had to slide button over and all is back to normal.

Ok Jimmy. I think that’s enough out of you.

My iPhone 13 Pro survived at the bottom of a 2.5m pool for ~20 minutes yesterday.

When I realised it was missing after showering and changing (after a friend drunkenly pushed me in), I went looking for it and happened to see a dark brick shape at the bottom. I dived in thinking it would absolutely be fried as not only was it deep but it had been in there for a while, but as I came up I got an IG notification and it was working totally fine haha

Still whacked in a bowl of rice for a few hours but it’s still fine today!

Just a heads up to iPhone users. I have updated mine this morning

Just did mine as well

Anyone got a Google Pixel 7 Pro? Upgrade time is round the corner and I’m wondering whether to hold on for the new Galaxy S23 or just go a different direction and dabble with the new Google. Currently on a Galaxy S20 Plus. Perfect size for me.

I’ve got the new Google Pixel 7. First time I’ve ventured into Google after mainly using Samsung/Huawei before, as an Android loyalist.

Impressed with the camera, interface and performance so far.plus I claimed free pixel buds :grinning: (for the Pro I think it’s their smart watch on offer?)

Updated to ios 16.2.

Not sure about notifications sitting at the bottom of the screen on the lockscreen now but I’m sure I’d get used to it :joy:

I like the look of this. Not sure if the phone itself will be all that, but I love the concept.

My contract is up with Vodafone now. I’ve been with them over a decade and had no issues but the sim only deals are fucking awful lol. If I pick a new sim deal with another brand. How will Vodafone know I have left so they don’t charge me? :joy:

The contract will usually have a clause that it just rolls into a month to month set up once the term is done. You will likely still have to give notice.

@JakeyBoy I like that idea too. The reason I’ve replaced my last two phones was because of the battery. Would definitely keep the one I have now another few years if I could just swap that out.

Googled it and if out of contract I just hand in my formal transfer request by texting PAC to them

I would go with EE, they’re the best in the UK for 4g and 5g coverage and they’re not too expensive

About three or four phones ago I had a Samsung Galaxy A1, the version that still had a removable casing on the back, allowing you to access the battery.

Miss those days, I bought a couple spare batteries that I’d make sure were fully charged for when the one in my phone died. The batteries were pretty small and slim, way better than carrying around a portable charger.

Battery life is the primary reason I ever change phones now, it’s never because I’m dissatisfied with my phone’s capabilities

Definitely the best network but when I looked recently they were a complete rip off. Fuck you Kevin Bacon you footloose twat.

Three give you the most for your money but I find them to have shit coverage wherever I’ve gone.

I’m on a rolling Voxi contract atm for the second time in the last 5 years. Been reliable for me (NW London).

I get 150gb data, unlimited text and calls for £14 for first 6 months and then £25 for the next 18.

Pretty good deal all things told if you ask me

Moved to 3.

£8 a month 12 month contract

25gb data.

Incredible how much better that is than the vodafone offers :joy:
