Yeah, I went no cos I think we’ll get 7 but be 2nd like your table
If you told any of us in July we would be waking up on Christmas Day 2nd in the league only by GD we would have firstly called you a nutter then thought it was fucking glorious
By Christmas you’ve normally played 18-20 games. This time around it will only be 14 for us.
Seems premature but nevertheless, could never have foreseen this shit. We’ve exceeded all expectations and by quite a distance too.
Just 3 more games to go, we’ve done a lot of hard work already. Get into the break and strengthen in January - we can really put a stranglehold on that top 4 spot with a couple of quality signings, keep the momentum going.
This is the real travesty of the World Cup mid season. It absolutely fucks all the “at Christmas” stats and facts. Burn in hell Blatter!
We’ll manage but I’ve voted no as 7 ain’t sending us into the WC break on top.
Two away trips to Chelsea & Wolves dealt with
36-1-1 is on!!
Yes my apologies lads, I thought 37 from 14 at the WC break would be too good to be true.
So you’re telling we would’ve gone 38-0-0 if it wasn’t for those shitty Southampton and Man Utd games?
Good lord, I’m gonna be one even more insufferable if we somehow win the league.
my uncle and cousins are City fans, so Christmas should be good

*Likely that Arsenal vs Man City is rescheduled in-between the Spurs and Man Utd matches
No let up in those January fixtures
Which is why it will be massive if we can get some moves in early.
Yes. The City game being rescheduled between Sp*rs and Man U is brutal. That has to be one of the toughest fixtures over a 3 week period that I can remember.
Really gotta use the Emirates here, in which we have a flawless record in so far this season.
If we get 10 points in that month it would be a massive statement.
I think its more likely the City match is scheduled into the European midweek in February that City isn’t playing (this would be around Feb 15th). The midweek between Spurs and United is reserved for FA Cup third round replays so there is no way to schedule Arsenal-City there before knowing the results of their FA Cup matches on the weekend of Jan 7th. Especially for a match between the top two in the table, I can’t see them scheduling just 10 days ahead of time.
Getting new signings early in Jan can definitely help with out chances then.
It’s very difficult and every other year for the last 15 years that schedule would have me shitting myself, but you know what……as long as we’re healthy I reckon we’ll win 3 of those 5 fixtures and potentially 4.
You didn’t have to put all that concern in me with a whole month of break in front of me.
Why do you hate good mentalhealth?
