Not quite a De Zerbi guy. He only started playing the year De Zerbi left. If memory serves me right he was one of the breakout players when the boss left for Ukraine. Had been a loanee at other clubs for a while

Yeah, I remember he was loaned out quite a bit. I reckon De Zerbi must have kept an eye out on Sassuolo after leaving, and Frattesi has admittedly been one of their best players since.
Would be nice if we see more Italians in the PL.
