Damn…that’s mad

He was finished the day Emery humbled him in the CL. Talked some mad shit before the game and was left sipping water at the end of it.

But they’re hiring Tuchel! Isn’t that one Twitter Nerd favorite for another?

Tuchel is a legit good manager

But he’s a perennial candidate offered by random Twitter users. So how is he not also a Twitter Nerd coach?

Because he has credentials. Twitter is about hyping the Potters, AVBs and this posing prick.

Essentially people that lean into Twitter as their primary source of football knowledge don’t trust their own interpretation, either that or they don’t even watch the players and managers that they pretend to be experts on in the first place.

It’s a lame deal, and it’s nothing but an endless hype circle jerk of misinformation

Deserved after he came to training that time on a scooter or whatever the fuck.

Tuchel knows how to beat Pep. Makes that matchup more interesting although it would suck for us if City lose and don’t have to deal with the semis.

That depends on who you follow. If you follow RedDevil3200 or SuperBlue3434 you’ll end up with a bunch of garbage in your feed.

There are plenty of smart people on Twitter sharing their ideas.

Yeah they are the ones using proper metrics and not trying to convince people of nerdy stats and talking down as pseudo intellectuals.
It’s just football. Cold analytical stats might have It’s place for the coaching staff.
They hold very little relevance of the great unwashed who just use their eyes but bring their own dynamic to the sport.

Twitter gave birth to a generation of football fans who take information they don’t understand and somehow manage to use it construct tweets that make it seem like they know what they’re talking about.

It’s just the obsession with stats and graphs (and making it up along the way) to make a conclusion. It clearly comes from American sports but over there it makes way more sense. It makes absolute sense to use stats in Basketball like that due to the way the game works.

Football is a game where a 1-0 and a 6-0 both could be considered a one-sided victory based on how the game went, which is by watching it. Numbers just can’t tell you the full picture of a 90minute match.

There are just as many people bleating on Twitter about desire, passion and doing forensic level analysis of a player’s body language.
