Just like Giroud, even this thread somehow survives despite being mediocre

Do we play Stoke football?
Why the fuck we get a slower than donkey center forward whose strength is in the air?
Don’t we play possession football, which require a more technical player?
Aren’t we supposed to pressing and back tracking football and what value can Giroud bring us?
Does he run better than our youth players?

Our problem(s) is not the hold up or link up, we just don’t have the movement and static as hell.
No one can create something from our tactics.

Anyone else miss him a bit?

He’d have buried one of those 33 crosses in the Wolves game

A bit? I cry myself to sleep every night over him!

He’d be an asset right about now, that’s how far we’ve fallen.

He was an asset even before we fell this low

People shat on Giroud but he was always more infinitely useful than Laca.

His ability as an aerial threat was undeniable no many how much people hated him.

Giroud as many goals tonight vs Sevilla away as Auba has in all comps all season, salt into the wound type stuff.

The Laca signing was one of the dumbest things we’ve done. We paid 50m for him when we had Theo and Giroud who are at least equal to Laca in their productivity. What a waste of 50m. I honestly think this is one of those signings that was made just to please the fans and shut them up. We needed a top CF for a long time, and when we bought Laca the fans really were fooled for a while until it became painfully obvious how shit he was :joy::joy:

We knew he wasn’t that top quality CF from day dot @BigWeng_4LYFE, you and I weren’t fooled.

Ozil know the key to his game was Giroud being on the end of his assists, he misses him. Their connection is real and permanent

Laca is shit and so is Giroud.

Throughout Giroud’s time at Arsenal, the general thinking was that we needed to replace him because he doesn’t score enough.

It’s ages ago now, but I think we were wrong to be so dogmatic about it every summer. A wide forward to replace Walcott/Chamberlain/Campbell/Iwobi would have accomplished the same thing.

Giroud for 6 months anyone?

Think it’s time to accept that he’s the most under rated striker of our generation

Kevin Campbell
Alan Smith
Sylvain Wiltord
Jose Reyes
Heck, I’d even put Chris Wreh ahead of Giroud
