Odsonne Édouard

I think so too. He’s more suited Imo for the French League.
Expectation could be his downfall now. Pretty unforgiving the PL as we have seen at Chelsea with the summer signings.
They have a bit more time with quality around them. That’s not going too be a luxury he has at Leicester.

Sign Odegaard this summer, Haaland next. Easy.

And then pick up Alexander Sørloth while we’re at it, get the whole Norwegian golden generation.

We’ve had enough German shitters, time to get some more Scandis in the team.

Big Kev saying we should sign Edouard as well

Wouldn’t mind him taking lacazettes position as a not good enough to start important games but can sort of do a job. For like 15 mil not more.

Need to think about replacing Auba next year so best to save funds for that. And Edouard is no where near a 20+ in the league striker.

Leicester generally make good signings, so it’s a stamp of approval if they are genuinely pursuing Edouard.

For £20m and as a replacement for Lacazette, is there a better value option around?

Iheanacho
Slimani
Musa

Just 3 awful striker signings they’ve made recently lol

They also spent £30m on Ayoze Pérez which, whilst not an awful transfer, is probably a little more than he would ever have been worth.

Dudded out bad on those three. Nobody’s safe from the big money flop machine

I’d say Celtic fining diamonds is another plus on this

VVD, Dembele and now Edouard

Definitely.

Leicester’s recruitment is just hit and miss as the rest of them. It’s just not talked about much. Although I submit their defensive signings are more on point however the Kante/Mahrez era squad is still much better than the current one.

Their management is much better than ours though, Claude Puel went on a winless streak and was out the door immediately and in came Rodgers. Compare that to what we’re doing with Arteta and it’s night and day.

I think it’s the strikers, mainly. The way they’ve recruited defenders and midfielders, though, has been exemplary.

Even the midfielders who start badly will eventually come good (Ndidi, Amartey).

They’re probably a good striker away from mounting a serious title challenge. Rememebr when we were saying things like that :pensive:
